Information about changing classes, transferring, or cancelling your enrolment.

We understand that circumstances change. Here's everything you need to know about modifying your child's class enrolments.

Changing to a Different Class

Within the First Two Weeks

If you'd like to switch classes within the first two weeks of term:

  1. Contact us with your request
  2. We'll check availability in your preferred class
  3. Transfers are free during this period

After Two Weeks

After the first two weeks:

  1. Contact us to discuss options
  2. Transfers depend on availability
  3. An administration fee may apply

How to Request a Transfer

  1. Log in to Stage Kids Portal
  2. Go to Classes > My Enrolments
  3. Select the class you want to change
  4. Click Request Transfer
  5. Or contact us directly

Withdrawing from a Class

Notice Period

  • Full refund: Withdrawal before term starts
  • Pro-rata refund: Withdrawal within first 2 weeks with 7 days notice
  • No refund: Withdrawal after 2 weeks without medical certificate

How to Withdraw

  1. Log in to Stage Kids Portal
  2. Go to Classes > My Enrolments
  3. Select the class
  4. Click Withdraw from Class
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm

Medical Withdrawals

If your child needs to withdraw for medical reasons:

  1. Provide a medical certificate
  2. Pro-rata refund or credit will be issued
  3. Priority re-enrolment when they're ready to return

Refund Policy

When You're Entitled to a Refund

  • Cancellation before term begins: Full refund
  • Withdrawal within first 2 weeks: Pro-rata refund
  • Medical withdrawal with certificate: Pro-rata refund or credit
  • Class cancelled by studio: Full refund or transfer

How Refunds Are Processed

  • Refunds return to original payment method
  • Processing takes 5-10 business days
  • You'll receive email confirmation

Credits

Instead of a refund, you may choose a credit:

  • Credits can be used for future terms
  • Credits don't expire for 12 months
  • Credits are applied automatically at checkout

Missing Classes

Casual Absences

  • Let us know if your child will be absent
  • No refunds for casual absences
  • Makeup classes may be available (see below)

Makeup Classes

  • Check if makeup classes are offered
  • Book through the portal or contact us
  • Subject to availability
  • Must be used within the term

Extended Absences

For extended absences (illness, family circumstances):

  • Contact us to discuss options
  • Medical certificate may be required
  • We'll work with you on a solution

Waitlist Management

If You're on a Waitlist

  • You'll be notified when a spot opens
  • You have 48 hours to confirm enrolment
  • After 48 hours, the spot goes to the next person

Removing Yourself from a Waitlist

  1. Go to Classes > Waitlists
  2. Click Remove next to the class
  3. No fee for removing from waitlist

Important Policies

Attendance

  • Regular attendance is important for progress
  • Notify us of planned absences
  • Teachers may follow up on unexplained absences

Behaviour

  • Students are expected to follow studio rules
  • Disruptive behaviour may result in discussion with parents
  • Severe issues may result in withdrawal

Communication

  • Keep your contact details up to date
  • Check emails and portal messages regularly
  • Important updates are sent via email
