Managing Multiple Children

How to add, edit, and manage profiles for all your children in Stage Kids Portal.

Stage Kids Portal makes it easy to manage all your children's dance education in one place. Here's how to set up and maintain their profiles.

Adding Your First Child

If you haven't added any children yet:

  1. Log in to Stage Kids Portal
  2. You'll be prompted to add your first child
  3. Fill in their details
  4. Click Save

Adding Additional Children

Step-by-Step

  1. Go to My Family from the main navigation
  2. Click Add Child
  3. Fill in the required information
  4. Add optional details (recommended)
  5. Click Save

Required Information

Name

  • First name and surname
  • Name as it appears on official records
  • This appears on class rolls and certificates

Date of Birth

  • Used to determine age-appropriate classes
  • Automatically updates age group eligibility
  • Important for examination registration

Gender

  • Optional but helpful
  • Used for:
    • Costume sizing
    • Class groupings (some classes)
    • Pronoun preferences

Medical Information

Important for your child's safety:

  • Allergies (food, materials, etc.)
  • Medical conditions (asthma, diabetes, etc.)
  • Medications
  • Physical limitations
  • Special needs or requirements

This information is confidential and only shared with relevant teachers and staff.

Emergency Contacts

  • Primary emergency contact (usually a parent)
  • Secondary emergency contact
  • Must include phone numbers
  • Should be reachable during class times

Profile Photo

Helps our teachers:

  • Learn your child's name quickly
  • Create class displays
  • Identify children in emergencies

Viewing Child Profiles

From My Family

  1. Go to My Family
  2. See all your children listed
  3. Click on any child to view their full profile

Profile Information Shows

  • Personal details
  • Current class enrolments
  • Achievements and badges
  • Attendance history
  • Teacher notes (if any)

Editing Child Information

To Update Details

  1. Go to My Family
  2. Click on the child's profile
  3. Click Edit
  4. Update the information
  5. Click Save

What You Can Edit

  • Name (contact us for legal name changes)
  • Contact details
  • Medical information
  • Emergency contacts
  • Profile photo
  • Preferences

Managing Multiple Schedules

With multiple children enrolled:

Viewing Combined Schedule

  • Dashboard shows all upcoming classes
  • Filter by child in the schedule view
  • Colour-coded by child or class type

Individual Schedules

  • View each child's schedule separately
  • Helpful for planning pickups
  • See progress for each child

Family Discounts

When you have multiple children enrolled:

  • Second child: 10% discount
  • Third child: 15% discount
  • Fourth+ child: Contact us for family rates

Discounts are applied automatically at checkout.

Sharing Responsibilities

Multiple Parent Accounts

If both parents want access:

  • Each parent creates their own account
  • Contact us to link accounts to the same family
  • Both can manage enrolments and payments

Grandparent/Carer Access

For authorised carers who need access:

  • Contact us to add them to your family
  • They can view schedules and receive notifications
  • Limited permissions can be set

Removing a Child

If a child is no longer dancing:

  1. Ensure no active enrolments remain
  2. Contact us to archive the profile
  3. Records are kept for certificate reissue requests

Note: We don't fully delete records as they're needed for certificates and examination history.

Age Group Changes

When your child has a birthday:

  • Age group eligibility updates automatically
  • You may be notified of new class options
  • Current enrolments continue until term end
  • Consider transitioning at term break

Keeping Information Updated

We recommend reviewing child profiles:

  • At the start of each term
  • After medical changes
  • When emergency contacts change
  • Around birthdays for age group updates
