Understanding Your Invoices
Learn how to read and understand your Stage Kids Portal invoices.
Every term, you'll receive invoices for your child's dance classes. Here's how to understand what's included.
Invoice Components
Each invoice contains:
- Invoice number - Unique reference for your records
- Invoice date - When the invoice was generated
- Due date - When payment is expected
- Student name - Which child the classes are for
- Class details - Name, day, time, and duration of each class
- Amount - Cost for each class and total due
Viewing Your Invoices
From the Dashboard
- Log in to Stage Kids Portal
- Click Payments in the sidebar
- Select Invoices tab
- Click on any invoice to view details
Invoice Statuses
Your invoices will show one of these statuses:
| Status | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Paid | Payment received - no action needed |
| Pending | Awaiting payment |
| Overdue | Payment past due date |
| Processing | Payment is being processed |
Understanding Charges
Term Fees
Most classes are billed per term:
- Term duration - Typically 10-12 weeks
- Weekly rate - Cost per week of classes
- Total - Weekly rate × number of weeks
Additional Fees
You may also see charges for:
- Costume fees - For performances and concerts
- Exam fees - For graded examinations
- Registration - One-time new student fee
- Material fees - Props or equipment for specific classes
Discounts
Look for discounts that may apply:
- Sibling discount - Reduced rate for additional children
- Multi-class discount - Savings when enrolling in multiple classes
- Early bird discount - For enrolling before the deadline
- Loyalty discount - For returning students
Downloading Invoices
To download a PDF copy:
- Open the invoice you want to download
- Click the Download or Print button
- Save the PDF to your device
PDF invoices are useful for:
- Personal record keeping
- Tax purposes (where applicable)
- Submitting to health funds or employers
Invoice Notifications
You'll receive notifications when:
- A new invoice is generated
- An invoice is coming due
- An invoice becomes overdue
- A payment is received
Manage your notification preferences in Settings → Notifications.
